THE JOURNEY

The Journey course offers a guided path through key parts of the Bible — including the Old Testament, New Testament, the Gospels, and more. While not a full Bible overview, it’s designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus, not just “take a class.”

Each course uses a mix of resources like videos, podcasts, books, and other readings. Most of the content is provided through The Bible Project (linked under the Vine University dropdown), so it’s easy to access everything in one place.

Courses typically meet weekly for 2–12 weeks, starting in the fall and wrapping up by spring.

In addition to the Journey roadmap, Vine University also offers other specialized classes throughout the year. You can find those listed under the “Current Courses” or “Future Courses” tabs.

Notional Course Schedule

The notional schedule depicts the traditional course of instruction. A student can enter the course at any time with one exception. The Introduction to the Hebrew Bible and the Heaven and Earth course should be taken sequentially, as the latter builds on the former. The Journey course is spread over two calendar years with breaks for summer vacations. Again, students can enter and exit at any time with the exception previously outlined.
