Root Groups and Serve Teams

Root Groups

From coffee shops to classrooms, from living rooms to local hang outs, Root Groups foster relationships beyond a typical Bible study class. In addition to studying the word of God, our groups promote friendship, love, compassion and support through crisis and celebration, making us a true faith family and strengthening our faith in God through our love for one another.

Music Ministry

The Vine @ Cabot enjoys a strong music program and encourages new members to consider becoming a part of this vital ministry. We have music group for all ages including the Cherubs Choir, the Kids Choir, Youth Praise Band, the Praise Band, and the Choir.

Prayer Team

This group serves daily (or weekly) with intentional prayer for turned-in prayer requests via the offering plate on Sundays, our app, website or the church office. They also pray daily for the spiritual growth and vitality of our church.

Bible Studies

Though there may exist some form of worship and prayer, the purpose of Bible study is to collectively grasp an understanding of God through His Word. These groups become small communities often sharing this personal journey to discovering the meaning of the passage.

Care Team

Our Congregational Care Team is made up of a group of people deeply committed to caring for all aspects of the lives of our faith family here at The Vine @ Cabot. New programs, classes, and support groups are constantly created to help with the emotional care of our families based on the current needs.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

This group of guys meets every Wednesday morning at 6am to be better men. Iron sharpens iron and this our opportunity to fellowship, pray for, poke fun at, and encourage one another for life's challenges.

Volunteer

  • How can I volunteer?

Fill the 'Get In Touch' Form out below. Please specify where you would like to help unless you are unsure. Then someone from that ministry will reach out with more opportunities.

Church volunteers perform tasks that staff members do not have the capacity or skills to accomplish. They use their time and talents for community service, fulfilling their desire to help others while ensuring the local church can direct more funds to its mission.

  • Can I bring friends to volunteer with me?

Share the Light of Christ by inviting your friends to serve with you. People naturally want to help others; often, they just need an invitation! Every community is in need of volunteers, and every act of service—both big and small—can bless the lives of those around you.

  • Where do you volunteer?

Volunteers do many different jobs at churches. These jobs range from helping kids in Sunday School to feeding the homeless in the local community to helping the administrative staff. There are so many ways to volunteer at your church!

  • Do you have long-term volunteer positions?

The great thing about a volunteer position is you can choose how long you do it. Specific volunteer spots are short term, but there are many long term spots available.
